A German Wedding

The other weekend they had a wedding reception here at the hotel. First it is a custom that everyone tie a white ribbon to their car antenna and then they follow the limo with the bride in groom to where ever the reception is. They honk their horns the whole time! So we hear them pull up and watch the bride and groom come inside. This was about 5:30 or so in the evening. They had a band and all the trimmings of a US reception the biggest difference is it went ALL and yes I mean ALL night long. Everyone stays!!!!! I asked the owner what time they left and she said it was about 5 in the morning. When I asked if this was common she said "oh sure, a wedding is a reason to party." She is such a hoot. We didn't really hear it as we have several doors between us and the hall, all of which we made sure were shut! Our friends were not so lucky and heard it all!!!
