Last Day in Paris

We saved the last day just for the Louvre. We had been told to get a book about the Louvre and decide ahead of time what you are going to go see and then map it out the best you can. There is just no way you can see the whole thing in one day. I don't think you could see the whole place in three days!!!! There is just so much to see. We were also told to go in the morning right when it opened and go see the Mona Lisa first as a line will form to see it. So we got there when it opened and went first to see the Mona Lisa. There was not so much a line as a mass of people in front of it. It is much smaller than you first think. We waited only about 10 minutes. I was glad they let you take pictures but once again I took too many. There was so much to see it was almost overwhelming. My favorite by far was the Egyptian room. It was just so amazing to me how old things were and how they were in perfect condition.
