We saw the Arc De Triomphe on day two. It was amazing. It was completed in 1836 and commemorates the victories of the Napoleonic Empire. In 1920 an unknown soldier was buried beneath the arc and a flame marks his grave. It was soo cool to see this. We decided to not go up inside. The line was very long and we had a lot we wanted to see. Can you tell the kids were worn out by all the walking. We still had a blast.

You do have to go back--you missed out on a lot by just going to the outside of Notre Dame and L'Arc de Triomphe. ;)
