Springtime has finally come to Germany. They say we had more snow this winter then we have had in around 20 years or so. I LOVED IT. But with living in a new country we did have several illnesses go through the house. Even though most of us got the flu shot we still had the flu go through. The weather has finally warmed up, the lakes are no longer frozen and flowers are popping up everywhere around my home. So spring is HERE!!!! I love watching my yard as I have no idea what is out there. In my front yard I have these beautiful lavender and dark purple flowers coming up everywhere. We think they are wild crocus. Whatever they are they are gorgeous. The picture with the snow was taken only a couple weeks ago! We are all ready to pack away the heavy coats, scarfs and gloves. Bring on spring!!!!!

How pretty! I put fake flowers in the flower beds of my yard. Here in Texas, everything I tried to grow would just die. So now I have a good-looking garden all year round. :)

Fun pictures, and I love the way your blog is decorated. I looked to see if you blogged when Audrey and Steve came to Japan, but I am too dead to figure out if you did or not...it is probably archived. I would love to know how you did those fun things to decorate, though.
