On Christmas eve the kids all sleep in the same room so no one can sneak out before the others. Christmas morning the kids have always had to get us up before going downstairs to the tree. This year our bedroom was upstairs and the tree was downstairs. We have a door that closes off the kids bedrooms from the living room. We told them we would come get them. Dennis always sets up the video camera to tape Christmas morning and the kids have to wait for him to get it ready. Here are the kids waiting in the hall with what is left of our boxes to unpack. Matthew has always been the last one up and we had to wake him up. You can tell by his picture he was not even awake yet.
