Here is delivery day. It was sooooo cold. We had a fire going outside and inside. It was so cold that Wesley climbed up on Meagan's lap and went to sleep UNDER her quilt. The house was all open as they were coming and going. It went very fast compared to what we were expecting. I had the paperwork all organized so I checked off certain numbers and Dennis had others. We had a list of what went where and showed them the rooms before they started. The only thing that did not go as planned is they did not put any of the furniture together. Turns out in Japan as they would get hardware from ANYTHING they would make it a little bundle and add it to ANY box. We are still finding hardware. They are not even in the boxes from the same room. Go figure. They took off two legs each from the couch and love seat. It took us over a week to find them!!!! I am happy to say we have hardly any damage at all. The bikes are a mess. They took them apart too far. Dennis has to find a bike shop to see if they can fix them. My china hutch that is one big piece of glass for the front came through just fine. So we are opening boxes and finding out what will work with the German electricity and what won't. Here is what does so far the lap top (thank goodness), TV, DVD, and one of the kids game systems. Sad to say our family computer does not. Who knew to look for duel voltage. Dennis is looking into changing out something to see if he can make it work. None of my kitchen appliances will work. We did get a transformer from the base that I can use with my waffle maker, mixer and fry pan. It has been a learn as we go thing.
The day before we were to get our stuff Meagan got hurt at school. She fell and landed on her arm wrong and then three more kids landed on top of her!!! By the time Dennis got her home and we got her sweatshirt off her elbow looked bad. We headed right to the ER. Five hours later and we still did not know much. They put her in a soft splint and sent us home telling us to see the ortho who we could not get in with till Tuesday!!!! I kept her home Monday as the halls at school are a zoo and I did not want it getting bumped. Turns out it was just a really bad sprain and probably a bone bruise. They kept her splinted for about four days then wrapped for another couple weeks. She is doing better but it has been slow going.

Glad to hear you are pretty well settled. I'm sorry to hear about Meagan's arm, but glad it is minor!
