Last Weekend we went to a Christmas Market

Going to a Christmas Market was an amazing treat. We will start earlier next year and go to more. The ones we went to this year were in a place called Koln. There were six different markets there in Koln. It was a rainy day but we didn't care. We spent the day wandering through the markets. They had so many different shops, food booths as well as VERY popular drink booths. We had a blast and tried many new foods. I found that I love the wurst with cheese in it. It was soooo good. All of us tried a different one but mine was the most popular. There is one picture of what I call and advent figure. You put candles in it and the heat makes it turn. At one market they had one that was over 4 stories high. It was so beautiful. There was a nativity that appeared to be carved out of one large piece of wood. There was even a Ferris wheel that Meagan and Matt rode on. At the end of the day we were all drenched but very happy.

I remember the "advent figure" My mom had several of those when we were little. I wonder why we don't see them around any more?
