Fall

On Saturday we did not go up into the hills where our village is. It had been raining most of the day and we just ran out of time. We took a walk right here in this village. The trees are not as colorful but still pretty.

You see these benches everywhere. They are along trails, along the back roads and even by the side of lakes. I think it is cool. Anywhere where it might be peaceful to sit or to take a picture there can be found a bench. I am not sure if the villages put them there and up keep them or who does. It is something I want to find out.

There is this old bridge right here by the hotel. I have never seen a car or a train on it. I think it is so pretty. I want to go up there before we leave the hotel and see what it up there.

The last picture is a picture of some castle ruins right behind our hotel. It is what our hotel is named after. I think the name is Forderverein Burg Hohenecken. It is so cool. The boys have hiked up there several times and been all through the ruins.
