Saturday after Transfer notice

We spent today cleaning out our storage shed and storage closet. We don't have a garage here so the shed is kinda like your garage. A catch all of outside things. A funny thing here on base is you can put things out at the curb and people will come by and take things. One mans trash is another man's treasure. Here we call it gomi digging. So we are putting things out to the curb and people are taking things as soon as it gets out there. People were even driving by in their car and stopping to look. I had two white benches that folded down to make a table with benches attached. A very cool thing but in Japan mold and mildew is a HUGE problem. So these "white" benches where green with some black spots. I tried to clean them with commit and then straight bleach! Nothing worked but they were the first thing to get picked up!!!!

We have found out a little more about where we are going. It is a huge base. There is a hospital right there. Here it is about an hour or longer (depending on traffic) to get there. Once it took us four hours to get there!!! There is great shopping on our base. I am looking forward to that and we will even have a Chilis right on base!!! The church there is big. We will be in a ward again and not a branch!!!! YAY. Maybe that will mean we will have only one calling. Dennis and I have had two or three the last three years. With Dennis being on the high council and the district young mens president. Can you say busy, busy, busy?? We can bring our pets and we will probably live off base as the housing is bigger but that we will decide when when we get there.

We did find out that Dennis has to take a class this summer and he is going to try to get one they have in San Diego. We should know soon about that. We are now trying to find out if we have to pack everything out before our summer travel or if we can go do our summer travel then pack out. We would rather do travel first. We are also going to try to go through our stuff in storage and then have it shipped over. So that is where we are today. Meagan is coming around with the idea the more we talk of what we will be able to do and see.
