We went to our first fest last Saturday it was so much fun. With Daniel being big into the SCA thing it was right up his ally. They had so many cool things to look at and do. They used to do something like this in California but not as big and not as many people dressed up. This was like stepping back in time. They even had an area roped off for living where you could tell that these people were actually living there for how ever long the fest went for. They were cooking, cutting hair, going about a "normal" day for them.

What is SCA?
Joseph loves to attend Renaissance Fairs, the last one we attended was in Lemoore, CA 7 or 8 years ago. The people there dressed up too. To be honest I think yours is bigger and probably more authentic, still we loved going for the atmosphere.
