Natural History Smithsonian

This was by far my favorite.  There were such amazing things to see and do.  We waited to do this one when Dennis could go with us and I am soooo glad.  When we were going inside there were kids and their parents entering the side of the museum.  The had sleeping bags!!!!  They were going to get to spend the night in there.  How cool is that???  We all said we would love to do that.

Here are more of our trip to the Air and Space Smithsonian and what I swear is the longest escalator ever!  We had to take a shuttle from the Hotel and then the escalator to get to the subway.  I can not imagine having to hike this when the electricity goes out!

Air and Space Smithsonian

We spent part of a day in the Air and Space Smithsonian.  There was so much to do and see.  Here are some pictures of the kids having fun.

Washington DC summer 2012

We started our summer travels this summer in Washington DC.  Dennis was chosen by DODDS to attend a training there so Meagan, Matt and I decided to tag along.  While he was in training all day we were out seeing the sights.  It was very hot and oh so humid but well worth it.  We were able to see things I never thought I would get to see in person.  Here are some pictures of Meagan feeding what little wildlife we saw.
